Dawn’s Light Records: Hermodric Stone

   Initially referred to as Thelian Obsidian, hermodric stone is named after Jeffery Hermod, a geologist from the Thelian Dawn who first noticed and attempted to study the energy-influencing properties of the black, glassy stone. Hermodric stone can be found throughout the world as small flakes and shards in the soil. Larger specimens can measure nearly five centimeters, though most samples are less than half that size. Education, Spirituality and Magic

   Education has always been one of the highest priorities of the Thelian people.  School attendance is not mandatory regardless of age, but Thelian society is such that in is unfathomable to think a child may not wish to learn.  Educational programs are structured so that the families choose the school they feel best teaches their children based upon learning styles.  All schools teach the same things but in different ways.
